This scene takes place towards the end of this dark, erotic drama. Art Garfunkel (he of Simon and Garfunkel fame) is still in love with ex-girlfriend Theresa Russell and decides to drug her one evening. When she is passed out and unable to fight him off, he cuts off all her clothes leaving her naked on the bed and rapes her, muttering how much he loves her as he has sex with her defenceless body.
